## Strom Thurmond High School Crowns Homecoming Queen

Natalie Hardy, a senior at Strom Thurmond High School, was crowned Homecoming Queen. The crowning ceremony was delayed by nearly three hours due to frequent lightning and heavy thunderstorms, concluding after 10 p.m.

The 2026 Strom Thurmond High School Homecoming Court included 12 members. Nichole Brown was named the first runner-up, and Madison Coleman was named the second runner-up. Imani Gilchrist, the 2025 Homecoming Queen, was escorted by STHS Principal Kristin Risher.

Following graduation, Natalie Hardy intends to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia to pursue a major in Exercise Science, with aspirations of becoming a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Glorieanna Mosley, another member of the court, plans to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia, hoping to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice and eventually attend law school.
