New Dashboard Tracks Child Care Scholarship Data
The South Carolina Department of Social Services has introduced the Child Care Scholarship Program Dashboard, an online portal designed to centralize information for the state’s Child Care Scholarship Program. This program receives both state and federal funding.
The new system allows families, child care providers, and community partners to directly view program data without needing to file report requests. The dashboard tracks various metrics, including scholarship enrollment trends, demographic details, and monthly payment distributions. Users can also review provider participation levels and overall application activity. Additionally, the platform offers county-by-county data comparisons to monitor how funding is utilized across South Carolina.
Tony Catone, the DSS state director, indicated that the system illustrates how resources are distributed to families throughout the state.
