Lexington SC is scheduled to face Sporting JAX in two upcoming soccer matches in September. The first game is set for Saturday, September 5, at 7 PM at Hodges Stadium. A second match, featuring Sporting JAX Women’s team against Lexington SC, is slated for Sunday, September 20.
These matches are part of a broader schedule of events happening in the region. Other activities include a Labor Day Weekend barbecue at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s Oceanfront Lawn on Saturday, September 5, featuring pitmaster Tank Jackson. This event will offer whole-hog barbecue, smoked stations, an ice cream truck, live DJ, and various games.
Local artist showcases are planned around St. Augustine from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6, featuring over 100 artists at 17 venues. These free showcases are presented by PNC Bank and will also include the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival and St. Augustine Record Fair.
Monster Jam will take over VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, with three shows featuring 12,000-pound trucks and stunts. The lineup includes fan favorites such as Grave Digger and El Toro Loco. The DT Jax Art Walk is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, from 5 PM to 9 PM, offering vendors and art.
Concerts are also scheduled at various venues. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will host Sam Grisman Project LIVE! on September 13, and JET – Down the Moonlit Mile Revue on September 15. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will feature Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms on September 4, and Modest Mouse on September 17. The Enchanted Forest at Grey Matter Distillery will conclude its run on September 6.
