The victims have been identified as Claire Ann Pierce, 22, a resident of Lexington, and Eliza Jane Udy, 21, from Leesville. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and other advocacy groups have reiterated the essential message of planning for safe transportation after consuming alcohol. Community members are reminded that having a designated driver or utilizing rideshare services can effectively reduce the risk of tragedy on the roads.
