A Life of Strength and Resilience

Born in Dayton, Ohio, and later growing up in northeast Columbia, Tammy was known for her unwavering loyalty and her incredible sense of humor. She faced various health challenges throughout her adult life but did so with a grace that inspired those around her. Friends recall her vibrant spirit, able to bring joy on the sunniest of days and comfort during the darkest moments.

Building Connections

One of the most remarkable things about Tammy was her ability to form deep, lasting friendships with people from all walks of life. Many of her friends have shared that their bonds with her remained strong for decades. In a world where friendships come and go, Tammy was a steadfast presence—a pillar of support who was always there to lend an ear or offer a helping hand.

Education and Career

She furthered her education at the University of South Carolina and ultimately completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business at Columbia College. With this strong educational foundation, she enjoyed a successful career in finance, working as a Business Analyst for several large companies in the Columbia area before retiring early.

A Loving Family

She is survived by her devoted son, Adams (Adam) Clarendon Stone, a student at the University of South Carolina, who was a source of immense joy and purpose for her. Tammy is also survived by her mother, Joan Davis Adams, and her sister, Melissa Adams, both residing in Columbia.

Remembering Her Love
