Overturned Vehicle on Interstate 26

On Friday night, emergency crews responded to a crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 26 near Mile Marker 99, close to the Ballentine Triangle. Skipper struck a brick mailbox and was ejected onto the roadway, where he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident.

In a separate incident, a vehicle crashed into a building on St. Andrews Road in Irmo, causing significant damage. The driver and two occupants inside the building sustained minor injuries from the impact. Brittany was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another car on St. Andrews Road. Both drivers involved in that crash were reported to have non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
