Community Events Offer Chances to Connect with Officers
Aiken County residents have two opportunities this week to meet law enforcement officers. These events aim to foster community engagement and support local initiatives.
On Wednesday, Chick-fil-A North Augusta is hosting ‘Chicken with a Cop’ from 5-7 p.m. This event also serves as a fundraiser for Special Olympics. A portion of purchases made through the Chick-fil-A app, when using the ‘Here to Support’ option, will be donated to Special Olympics.
The Aiken Department of Public Safety will hold ‘Coffee with a Cop’ at the Lessie B Price Center on Thursday, from 9 to 11 a.m. Attendees at this event will receive free coffee and have the chance to meet officers who serve the community.
