Kid’s Day of Lexington gave local youngsters a great time

The 23rd annual Kid’s Day of Lexington was held on Saturday, April 27.

Palmetto Chiropractic Center was the headlining sponsor of Kid’s Day.

The mission of Kid’s Day of Lexington

The mission of Kid’s Day of Lexington is to “create a better community by educating and caring for families with love, honesty, and laughter.”

Local Business Sponsorship

34 local businesses were sponsors for Kid’s Day. The event was held at the Lexington Municipal Complex and the Icehouse Amphitheater from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free for All

Everything is free at Kid’s Day as none of the vendors are allowed to sell anything. Each of the vendors had several free items for the kids, including pens, crayons, coloring books, toys, stick-on badges, Legos, hotdogs, bottled water, small plants, pizza, and more.

Special Features

This year, Lego Land had a huge display for the kids at the Ice House area. Lexington Library offered many free books for the children and gave out red canvas bags which the children could fill with the books they desired.

Newsworthy Moments Captured

The event was a resounding success, bringing joy and entertainment to local youngsters. Families and children enthusiastically engaged with the variety of activities and gifts provided by the sponsors.

The enthusiasm and cheerfulness in the atmosphere reflected the spirit of community togetherness and the commitment to creating a better environment for families in Lexington.
