Local Veteran Honored for Service

In addition to supporting the Lexington Police Department Foundation, the golf tournament will also honor a local veteran for their service to the country. This year’s honoree is Army veteran Michael Thompson, who served two tours overseas and continues to be involved in veteran advocacy efforts in the community.

A ceremony will be held during the tournament to recognize Thompson’s dedication and sacrifice during his military service. Attendees are encouraged to show their support for Thompson and all veterans who have selflessly served their country.

The combination of supporting the police foundation and honoring a local veteran makes this year’s golf tournament a poignant and meaningful event for the Lexington community. Participants and sponsors alike are looking forward to coming together for a day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back to those who serve and protect.
